Index of Dromore Wills 1768 - 1858

1845 Bradshaw Joseph, Drumnacanvy, Parish of Seagoe, Co. Armagh

Between 1814 and 1818, Joseph Bradshaw shared land valued at 40 s. (£2) with Leonard Calvert, Robert Calvert & William Lutton.

Between 1818 and 1830, Joseph Bradshaw occupied land valued at £10 and his was the only life named on the Lease Document.Perhaps a coincidence, but John Bradshaw had previously occupied Drumnacanvy land valued at £10.There are two baptism records for John Bradshaw & Mary his wife (Heanin) - Child in 1760 & William in 1766.  Joseph was born about 1764 and could possibly be the son of John and Mary.

Ancestors of Joseph Bradshaw are probably John & Helen Bradshaw of Seagoe, Co. Armagh

A descendant of Joseph Bradshaw is probably James Bradshaw of Breagh, Seagoe.

Joseph Bradshaw leased land with Leonard Calvert and James's son and his grandson are both named Leonard Bradshaw. The only two Leonard Bradshaws recorded on this web-site.  Also, James's first son is called Joseph.

Grant, Geo, Bradshaw D.B. son of Thomas Grant of Tanderagee, Armagh, by Eliza., daughter of Joseph Bradshaw of Seagoe,
Born ca. 1840, Curate of St Margaret, Shannon, Cork - 1861

Notes: Eleanor Bradshaw

There is a 1845 marriage record for Eleanor Bradshaw of Drumnacanvy;  father Joseph Bradshaw, weaver.  Joseph Bradshaw died in 1844, and it is usual for a marriage certificate to state if the fathers is deceased, which was not onEleanor's certificate.  Joseph may have been a son of Joseph.  1864 Griffith Valuation - Joseph Bradshaw, Drumnacanvy
